Poiana Brasov

Poiana Brasov is the most renowned resort for winter sports in Romania and an important touristic attraction.

The resort is at 1030 m elevation and lies below the famous Postavarului peak. The highest mountain peak is Cristianul Mare Peak at 1799 m altitude.

Poiana Brașov has the most developed and modern mountain tourist facilities in the country. Hotels, swimming pools, conference rooms, riding center and other tourist facilities.

The resort has 10 slopes with different degrees of difficulty. It is equipped with two cable cars, a gondola, two chairlifts and several ski lifts which provide tourists easy and fast access to the top of mountain.
